About BromvikArt

A purchase agreement is entered into when you complete your order through the checkout and receive an order confirmation. Please check your order confirmation carefully and contact BromvikArt as soon as possible if any information is incorrect. BromvikArt reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, technical error, incorrect stock information, suspected fraud or if a unique original artwork has already been sold and the website has not yet been updated.
Original artworks are unique, handmade pieces. Natural variations in texture, brushwork, surface and finish are part of the artwork and should not be regarded as defects. Colours may appear slightly different on different screens and devices. BromvikArt cannot guarantee that your screen displays colours exactly as they appear in the physical artwork or print.
Certificates of authenticity, signatures, numbering and edition information are included where stated in the individual product description.

Prices are displayed in SEK (Swedish kronor) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are added at checkout unless otherwise stated.
Payment is made securely through the payment methods available at checkout. BromvikArt currently accepts major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is charged in connection with the purchase according to the terms of the selected payment provider.
Any currency conversion displayed by your bank, card provider or payment service is outside BromvikArt's control. Your payment provider may charge its own currency conversion or transaction fees.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

BromvikArt sells both original artworks and Fine Art Prints.
An original artwork is a unique physical work created by the artist. Purchasing the artwork transfers ownership of that physical piece to the buyer but does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Fine Art Prints may be produced after an order is placed.
Limited editions are produced only in the edition size stated on the relevant product page. Where specified, limited editions may be signed, numbered and individually hand-finished by the artist. Because some artworks are individually created or hand-finished, minor variations between pieces may occur. These variations are part of the character of the work.

Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Swedish distance selling legislation, unless a legal exception applies. Full information about the right of withdrawal, returns, return shipping, refunds and exceptions for custom or personalised artwork is available in our Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Complaints,
Defects & Transport Damage

Consumers purchasing from BromvikArt have the right to make a complaint about an original defect in accordance with applicable consumer legislation. Under Swedish consumer law, the statutory complaint period for goods is three years from the date you received the item. This does not mean that the artwork is covered by a three-year guarantee. The right to complain applies only to defects that were present when the item was delivered, even if the defect becomes apparent at a later date. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by the customer, improper handling, storage or hanging, or changes resulting from environmental conditions are not considered original defects.
A complaint should be made within a reasonable time after the problem has been discovered. If you believe that an item is defective, incorrect or has been damaged during transport, please contact BromvikArt as soon as possible and include your order number together with photographs showing:
the artwork or product
the damage or defect
the outer packaging
the internal protective packaging
Please retain all packaging until the matter has been resolved, as the carrier may require it when investigating transport damage.
Where a complaint is accepted as valid, BromvikArt will cover the necessary return shipping and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement, repair where appropriate, a price reduction or refund.
Because original paintings are unique, replacement with an identical original artwork will not be possible.
BromvikArt may offer gift cards for use on BromvikArt.com.
The value and any applicable validity period are stated when the gift card is purchased.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be replaced after they have been fully redeemed.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

All artwork, designs, photographs, images and written material displayed on BromvikArt.com are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Unless otherwise stated, copyright in the artwork remains with the artist / BromvikArt after the physical artwork or print has been sold.
Purchasing an original artwork or Fine Art Print gives the customer ownership of the physical item only. It does not give the purchaser the right to reproduce, copy, print, publish, commercially exploit, create merchandise from, digitally distribute or otherwise use the artwork for commercial purposes.
No artwork, image or other material from BromvikArt.com may be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission from BromvikArt.
Personal photographs of purchased artwork in the customer's own home or environment are, of course, permitted for ordinary private use and social sharing.

BromvikArt processes personal information supplied in connection with orders and customer enquiries in order to process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide customer service and comply with legal obligations. Necessary information may be shared with payment providers, shipping companies and other service providers required to complete the order. Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy terms.

Marketing emails and newsletters are sent only where there is a valid legal basis to do so. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Limitation of Liability

BromvikArt is not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government action, strikes, customs delays, serious transport disruption, fire, major technical failures or similar events.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by mandatory consumer legislation. BromvikArt is not responsible for indirect losses to the extent such limitation is permitted by law.
Where a purchase is made by a company or other legal entity rather than a consumer, mandatory consumer legislation, including the statutory consumer right of withdrawal, does not apply. Separate terms may be agreed for commissions, corporate art purchases, larger orders or other business arrangements.
